Alumni Profile - Ayush Tambde, Class of 2023

Class of 2023 Ayush Tambde won the prize for Best Individual at BTYSTE with his project, 'Analysis of single-cell proteomic data to understand the mechanisms of oncogenic transformation and how to control them'. He also won the Horizon Student Award for the best overall Biological and Ecological project.

Ayush has twice been named one of the Top 30 under 30 in tech by the Sunday business Post.

Dublin City Student Enterprise Awards - Big wins! 1st in Junior & 2nd in Senior Categories

Two fantastic wins today, Wednesday 28th February, at the 2024 Dublin City Student Enterprise Awards! And Stratford also received a special e-Bay award - well done Mr Brilly, Mr O'Callaghan and Co.!

Congratulations to 1st Year Business students - Vihaan, Christian and Eli - who won 1st prize in the Junior Section. Congratulations also to TY Business students - Joseph and Liam - who won 2nd prize in the Senior Section. 

Golf Ireland comes to Stratford

Monday 23rd October and the hall was transformed into a golfing arena! Mr Brilly, Ms Finnegan and the TY's had superb fun learning how to golf.

TY Business students runners up in LEO SEP Dublin City Finals

Congratulations to the TY Business students - Luke Higgins, Yoan Perenovski, Cassie Murphy and Brendan Doorley - who not only reached the second stage of the LEO Student Enterprise Programme Dublin City Finals, but came second place with their project 'Teacher Tower' on Thursday, 24th March.

Junior Cycle Step Up Project report launched: results of Stratford College's teaching and learning practices

In 2018 Stratford College in Rathgar, Dublin 6 was one of 9 schools nationwide who were chosen to participate in a Department of Education initiative called Step Up. The goals identified for the Step Up project were to achieve higher quality learning experiences and outcomes for students through more effective implementation of aspects of the Framework for Junior Cycle (2015). Stratford focus on understanding Big Data for Safer Internet Day: 8th February 2022

Big Data - this year in Computer Studies classes all students from 1st year to 6th Year learned to understand what information is gathered by companies and organisations.

5th Year Computer Science student wins two awards at BTYSTE 2022 for his advanced quantum computing project!

Massive congratulations to Ayush Tambde, 5th Year Computer Science student, for winning two awards (for a second year in a row!) at the BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition 2022 with his project called "A System For The Development And Execution Of Hybrid Classical/Quantum Tasks".
