The 6th Year Computer Science students and Ms O'Kelly visited the AWS (Amazon Web Services) HQ offices in Charlemont Square on Wednesday 8th May to learn about the different roles in a large multinational technology company, networking and the impacts of technology on society.
Thanks to Simon who hosted us for the afternoon and gave us very interesting insights (and delicious doughnuts) into the technologies involved in networking. The 6th years also liked the games room - a lot!

The 4th Years enjoyed taking an active role in a Climate Literacy Sustainable Development module starting 5th September. The TYs were making connections linking systems such as technology-education-food-democracy.
