After school sports activities all up and running
Ms. Finnegan spoke at a school assembly in the first weeks of the new term to explain how important it is for everyone to take part in sport and PE in school and how it is significant for everyone's wellbeing. After School Yoga classes
Feedback from students through the Sports surveys undertaken earlier in the year, showed that a significant number of students wanted to do Yoga classes. This was duly organised by Ms Finnegan mid-way through the year and was extremely well attended and liked. read more →
Arts Week 2015 - art and wellbeing
Wellbeing Arts Week 2015 lived up to the posters! Held from Monday, 16th November through to Friday, 20th November, there were activities and workshops for every student and teacher alike. Junior cycle reform: ‘Wellbeing’ a first-year subject in 2017
Subject will be integrated across junior cycle by 2020 as part of revised reform timetable. A new subject of wellbeing will be introduced to students starting the first year of secondary school in September 2017 under a revised timetable for the roll out of junior cycle reforms published Monday. read more →
