5th and 6th Class Students from Stratford National School visit the College

Stratford College was delighted to welcome students from 5th and 6th Class in Stratford National School to our campus. This was a fun filled morning where the students from both schools got to know each other.  

Stratford College awarded Amber Flag for promoting Positive Mental Health and Wellbeing

Ms Finnegan received exciting news in mid-May to hear that Stratford College had been awarded the Pieta Amber Flag for promoting Positive Mental Health and Wellbeing. The awarding committee found that Stratford has shown great commitment in promoting positive mental health by encouraging teamwork and contributions from peers in all aspects of Stratford school life throughout 2024-2025. 

Outgoing 6th Years Receive Award for Public Speaking & Effective Communications

Outgoing 6th year students Stephen, Emily, Kishaylin and Finn receive their certificates for public speaking and effective communications from the Leinster School of Music & Drama.  

City Dionysia Theatre Festival in Ancient Greece studied by 1st Years

1st year students learned about the City Dionysia Theatre Festival in Ancient Greece, and did research to create playbills for the competition. Here are some examples of their work!  

Transition Year Heritage Trail of Jewish Dublin

Transition Year Students as part of their studies in Jewish History and Culture followed a Heritage Trail on Friday 23rd May. It started with a visit to the Jewish Museum in Portobello where students were transported back in time by examining various artefacts on display and then followed by insightful presentations by Dr. Natalie Wynn and Edwin Alkin. 

Chinese Tea Party May 2025

The TY Chinese Culture and Language Studies students hosted a tea party for their class, staff and our Chinese students.  Traditional games were played and authentic snacks were served.  Thank you to all for organising.
