On Wednesday 27th November, the TYs and Leaving Cert 5th and 6th Year Geography students went on a field trip to Kippure with Ms Skehan and Ms Finnegan.

Transition Year students planted yellow crocus bulbs this autumn in memory of one and a half million Jewish children who were murdered in the Holocaust and thousands of other children who were victims of Nazi atrocities. (Holocaust Education Ireland provided the crocus bulbs).

Birr Observatory! Reptiles! Science jokes! Sustainability Tour to Airfield Estate ... and more! The Science department has been busy organising a packed Science Week kicking off Wednesday, 13th November with a trip to Birr Observatory and separately back in Stratford there will be lots of reptiles.

During Science classes at the end of October, 2nd - 6th Year Science students created their very-own Slime.
Two Stratford projects have been invited to compete in the 2025 BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition (BTYSTE) which is on from 8th - 11th January in the RDS. We're very proud of this achievement in Stratford!

The TYs, accompanied by Ms Kenny and Ms Mahon, went to Delphi Adventure Centre from Monday 1st October to Wednesday 3rd October! Kayaking, making rafts, bog jumping and combat archery are only some of the activities that the TYs took part in during their stay in Delphi.

The TY's hosted a wonderful coffee morning in aid of Our Lady's Hospice, Harolds Cross on 25th September.
Each class year was invited to the coffee dock in the hall for a refreshing cuppa and some dancing. Thanks to Ms Finnegan and all the TYs for making it such a spectacular success. In excess of 300 euro was raised for such a worthy cause.
The 4th Years enjoyed taking an active role in a Climate Literacy Sustainable Development module starting 5th September. The TYs were making connections linking systems such as technology-education-food-democracy.
