Hao Wen and Ritvik's project was entitled, "A simulation of Axion Monodromy inflation to investigate whether it can describe our Universe" and it models the shape of the universe.
Callum and Sanket's project was entitled, "FluxChess: A Real-Time Dynamic Chess Tutor that Teaches through Personalised Feedback". It uses AI and a Large Language Model (LLM) to provide this personalised feedback.
The competition started on Wednesday 7th January. Over the course of the following three days our Stratford students received so much support and attention from the TYs, teachers, friends and family. Many visitors went to their stands, including Mr Barrett, Ms Donohoe, various politicians, academics and interested students from other stands.
On Tuesday, 13th January there was a special assembly for the whole school to celebrate the awards achieved by the two groups. The Board of Management were represented at the assembly, with Aoife Cassidy, Chair of the Board, presenting presents of appreciation to the four students and two teachers involved.
Entering into the Stripe Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition involves so much support for the students, by teachers and family and friends. Thank you to everyone who helped along each step of the way. It is *so* worth it!
