NEWS / 10 November 2025

TYs are getting busier every week - a number of TYs organised and ran the Stand Up Week events, as well as all TYs getting their jobs for work experience sorted out.

While the first Friday (31st Oct) of doing Padel was rained off, regardless of the weather Ms Finnegan and the TYs went to Bushy Park on Friday 7th November and really enjoyed it! There are a couple more sessions to go.

Thanks to Ciara, Lucy, Alanna, Grace and Mia who did a brilliant job helping Ms Finnegan organise and run Stand Up Week. See the blog on Stand Up Week (3rd - 7th November). On the Friday the TYs had to wear blue. Ms O'Kelly won the best teacher prize for her wonderful blue 'Angry Bird' hat! All for the TYs!

On Monday morning, 10th November, Ms Kenny and Ms Maxwell met the TYs at Trinity College front gate. From there the TYs walked to O'Connell Street (in dry weather for once!) to visit the GPO Museum. It was a fascinating morning's visit. Thank you!

Meanwhile, all the TYs are getting really organised with preparing for work experience. More and more TYs have their jobs lined up - well done!
