TY English students produce short film about 1913 Lockout

NEWS / 19 December 2013

One group of TY English students have written, filmed and edited a short film about the 1913 Lockout for the Youth Connect competition. Kate Dempsey (TY) writes about the experience. Look at their fantastic work on Stratford's YouTube channel.

The film is based on the 1913 Lockout and we are going to enter the Youth Connect "Decent Work" competition. It had to be three minutes long. I was the Director and Niall, Nicole, Andrew, Cathal and Fiona were the actors. The editing was the hardest part of the project... as was standing out in the cold while filming! The best part was watching the end result.
