Congratulations to the two groups - Hao Wen and Ritvik in 5th Year and Callum and Sanket in TY - who have been invited to compete in this year's Stripe Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition from 7th - 10th January 2026!
Hao Wen and Ritvik's project is exploring an aspect of String Theory under the mentorship of Dr Ryan. This is the third time that Hao Wen and Ritvik will be competing in the Young Scientist competition - some feat!
Callum and Sanket's project is titled "FluxChess: A real-time dynamic Chess tutor that teaches through personalised feedback" with Ms O'Kelly as their mentor. Callum brings experience of competing in the Young Scientist competition from last year.
A big shout out to all of the Stratford students who entered the Stripe YSTE - Ciara (TY), Leon (1st year), Amelie (3rd Year), Zhi Hang (2nd Year) and Sachet (2nd Year). They invested a lot of time and energy getting their application forms in throughout September and have learned a lot from the experience. Never give up and start thinking of ideas for next year!
