Ms O'Kelly has been waiting to hear this talk for some years now (!) and thanks to Ms Donohoe - Jonny Lynch - Lead UI (User Interface) Designer for Scopely Dublin visited Stratford on Tuesday, 21st May to explain in detail about UI design for video games.

Jonny first gave an overview of how he got into UI and gaming design. He then spoke in detail about the following topics:

  • What is UI Design?
  • UI Design Best Practices
  • Examples of Good and Bad UI
  • Getting into the Industry
  • Emerging Tech

Everyone was totally in the flow and Ms Donohoe counted 31 questions asked by students! Thank you so much Johnny for visiting Stratford and to Ms Donohoe for organising the morning. It was great having some Junior students who are interested in this topic too.
