Our Well Being Theme for this year is .....Disconnect to Reconnect!

NEWS / 5 October 2023

Last year our students identified social media and lack of sleep as two challenges to their well being.

This year we asked parents, teachers and students how we could enable students to make better choices around these two areas. We have put some measures in place already like our Phone Away Boxes and our draft revised Acceptable User Policy and Communications Guidelines for approval this month. Others will be rolled out next year as part of our Disconnect to Reconnect Well Being Theme.

Thanks to our Student Council and Charlie Murphy for designing this great graphic as part of our campaign!

School self-evaluation (SSE) empowers a school community to affirm good practice, to identify areas that merit improvement and to decide on actions that should be taken to bring about improvements in those areas. It is overseen by the Department of Education.
