At the Awards Ceremony on Friday, 24th October, on the back of an idea from Jakob Miller, 1st Year English student, everyone in the school hall held a piece of paper congratulating Malala Yousafzay on the recent announcement of her jointly winning the Nobel Peace Prize 2014.

At the Awards Ceremony on Friday, 24th October, on the back of an idea from Jakob Miller, 1st Year English student, everyone in the school hall held a piece of paper congratulating Malala Yousafzay on the recent announcement of her jointly winning the Nobel Peace Prize 2014. 1st and 2nd Year English students have been studying Malala in English. 

Earlier this week, Malala received her Nobel Peace Prize alongside her co-recipient, Kailash Satyarthi earlier this week.  Watch the video of Stratford students congratulating Malala!

Stratford reach the 2026 Young Environmentalist Awards Finals in RDS for the first time

Congratulations to 1st Year Computer Studies students - Yair, Liam and Giorgi - who made it to the ECO-UNESCO 2026 Young Environmentalist Awards Finals held on 12th May with their Scratch coding project called "Giorgi the Litter Fighter". This is the first time that a Stratford project has made it to the finals - so very impressive work!
