Ms. Kenny and Ms. Reynolds brought TY English and History students on a school tour on Friday, 12th April to hear about the stories, songs and speeches which inspired James Plunkett to write "Strumpet City" - Dublin's One City: One Book for April 2013.
We watched an exhibition on the history of 1913 Dublin lockout. We were also told about the history of Jim Larkin. It was an extraordinary place where we saw this exhibition. While the singing was a bit disorganised, the public speakers were great and very knowledgeable. (Click on blog title to see more photos.)

In the run up to the state exams, Stratford's Wellbeing Team draws your attention to the suite of resources on gov.ie under the heading of Wellbeing support for Exam Students, Parents and School Staff.
As is tradition at this time of year, the annual rounders game took place between our outgoing 6th Years and Teachers. Despite great efforts by our 6th years and some fabulous play, Teachers came out victorious. Fair play to all who played in this game.
