TY students met Shaun Dunne, playwright of "Death of the Tradesmen" which the class saw in September 2012 on Friday, 3rd May.
Shaun Dunne visited the TY drama class on Friday, 3rd May to talk to them about his work and how he makes theatre.
Shaun wrote Death of the Tradesmen which the class saw back in September and which won The Lir Revival Award. Shaun is the associate writer for Talking Shop Ensemble, who produced Death of the Tradesmen and is currently on the New Playwright's Progamme at the Abbey Theatre. On Thursday 21st May, Ms Donohoe, Ms McGill and the 3rd Year Classics students walked to nearby Ely Arch beside the River Dodder. As part of Junior Cycle Classics, students have to compare a building in their local area with a building in Rome.

As is tradition at this time of year, the annual rounders game took place between our outgoing 6th Years and Teachers. Despite great efforts by our 6th years and some fabulous (and acrobatic) play! The Teachers came out victorious.
