2nd Year English students, James O'Brien and Eoin Little, programmed an online maze game in Scratch as their chosen task for English in November. Try the game yourself!
We were assigned a tasksheet from our English teacher, Ms. Reynolds, and we chose this task to create a game! We based our game on a scene from 'To Kill a Mockingbird'. We came up with the idea of it by exchanging ideas with each other. The scene is about Tom Robinson escaping from jail. Watch how Eoin plays the game in this video on Stratford's YouTube channel. In the run up to the state exams, Stratford's Wellbeing Team draws your attention to the suite of resources on gov.ie under the heading of Wellbeing support for Exam Students, Parents and School Staff.
As is tradition at this time of year, the annual rounders game took place between our outgoing 6th Years and Teachers. Despite great efforts by our 6th years and some fabulous play, Teachers came out victorious. Fair play to all who played in this game.
