Féilte 2015 is The Teaching Council's Festival of Education in Learning and Teaching Excellence. Ms. Reynolds successfully submitted the English 2nd year Media Studies module which was showcased at Féilte so ably in the RDS.

Stratford College were commended at Féilte 2015 for having a pioneering English Department. The feedback was immensely positive from other teaching professionals who applauded our cohesive Media Studies Short Course as it incorporates so many of the key skills required for the Junior Cycle: digital literacy, oral literacy, peer and self assessment, being creative, managing information, working with others, communicating, managing myself and continuous assessment.

Many thanks to the talented Samuel O'Brien (TY) who designed our stand for today. His beautiful graphics were commented on many times, stating that it was the most eye catching stand in the arena. I would also like to thank Cormac Kelly (TY) and Ryan Baker (TY) for accompanying me today at the RDS to showcase their hilarious television advertisement, I was very proud to have them accompany me and to hear them speak so fluently and eloquently about their project. Lastly, I would like to thank Ms O'Kelly whose determination ensured that our IT ran smoothly today.
