Past pupil Jake Walsh (1990) returns to school to judge 2nd Year Digital Media work

In mid-May, past pupil Jake Walsh (1990) who is Managing Director and Head of Commercials for ScreenScene, visited the school to judge the 2nd Year Digital Media projects. The winning students went on to win an award at the National Creative Schools Competition in June 2016.

Past pupil Jake Walsh (1990) who is Managing Director and Head of Commercials for ScreenScene, visited the school in mid-May to judge the 2nd Year Digital Media projects.Jake said that he was "proud to be a past pupil and loves to give back to his alma mater, Stratford College. He was immensely impressed by the quality and range of advertisements that our second year students had created." The same 2nd Year students went on to win an award at the National Creative Schools Competition 2016 in early June.

Stratford reach the 2026 Young Environmentalist Awards Finals in RDS for the first time

Congratulations to 1st Year Computer Studies students - Yair, Liam and Giorgi - who made it to the ECO-UNESCO 2026 Young Environmentalist Awards Finals held on 12th May with their Scratch coding project called "Giorgi the Litter Fighter". This is the first time that a Stratford project has made it to the finals - so very impressive work!
