Stratford College marks National Mental Health Day
On Wednesday, October the 10th students and staff marked National Mental Health Day, a significant occasion to raise awareness of the importance of mental health and well being.
Read more →Stratford College senior students and staff attended the National Holocaust Memorial Day Commemoration at the Mansion House on Sunday 29th January. As part of the ceremony students from Stratford College, read from the Scroll of Names, remembering the victims of the Holocaust.
Organised by the Holocaust Education Trust of Ireland (HETI), Professor O’Dowd, from Trinity College said "Holocaust Memorial Day cherishes the memory of all the people who perished and recalls the millions of victims who were persecuted because of their ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, political affiliations or their religious beliefs.”The commemoration includes readings, survivors’ recollections, the Scroll of Names, candle-lighting and music.
