Green-Schools is Ireland͛'s leading environmental management and award programme, working with primary and secondary schools across the country. For more details click here

Stratford's Green Schools committee were inspected for their 4th Green Flag (Marine Litter) in mid-March and are awaiting to hear the outcome (see blog). Green Schools were also instrumental in organising Stratford students to march to Dáil Éireann in the recent Schools Strike 4 Climate action (see blog).

We wish Green School's all the best as we await their inspection result!

Bloomsday in Rathgar: 15th & 16th June

Bloomsday celebrates 16th June 1904, the day depicted in James Joyce's Ulysses. As part of the Bloomsday Festival (11th - 16th June), Rathgar village is celebrating Bloomsday on Saturday 15th from 1pm onwards.  On Sunday, 16th June 2019 local historian and auther, Ged Walsh is leading an historical literary walk around Rathgar starting from Herzog Park (beside Rathgar Tennis Club) starting at 11am.
