Friendship Week was held immediately after mid-term, from Monday 19th February through to Friday, 23rd February. There were lots of Friendship themed events throughout the week culminating in a Friendship Fair on the Friday where the National School pupils came over to the secondary school. Stratford College was awarded an ISPCC Anti-Bullying Shield Flag in September 2016.
Laura Kelly in TY writes:
"Friendship Week and the Friendship Fair was great fun and a good opportunity to mix with the primary school and the other years. I was in charge of the Friendship Tree which was a paper cut-out tree where students had to write on a paper leaf "what friendship means to me". This was a very innovative and creative idea to capture and appreciate student's ideas and views on friendship.
