On Tuesday, 1st May, Ms. Reynolds organised a morning of English Readings by a selection of students from each year. There were also two musical interludes by students in 4th Year and 6th Year. Enjoy the highlights on the Stratford College podcast and YouTube channels.
This year I decided to celebrate the wonderfully imaginative and articulate work of our students by providing them with a forum to present them to the whole school. Each year group presented their best work. Unfortunately, their critical essays, which have been outstanding, have been excluded as their content wouldn't be suitable from an entertainment point of view. In the run up to the state exams, Stratford's Wellbeing Team draws your attention to the suite of resources on gov.ie under the heading of Wellbeing support for Exam Students, Parents and School Staff.
As is tradition at this time of year, the annual rounders game took place between our outgoing 6th Years and Teachers. Despite great efforts by our 6th years and some fabulous play, Teachers came out victorious. Fair play to all who played in this game.
