NEWS / 24 April 2015

2nd Year English student, Tim Murphy, writes about the visit by two advertising and design professionals to give the class feedback on their Digital Media work.

On Thursday the 23rd of April, Jake Walsh and Laura Fitzgerald came in to us to see the advertisements we had created, listen to our pitches and also to give us feedback. Laura Fitzgerald is a copywriter at Chemistry.ie and Jake Walsh is the CEO of Screenscene and the chairperson of the Institute of Creative Advertising and Design (ICAD) but most importantly, he is a past pupil of Stratford. They were very impressed by our advertisements and our pitches. As were we when we heard of some of the advertisements they were involved in! Many thanks to Ms Byrne for organising for them to come in.
