World Book Day launch of “Stratford College Writes!”

Mr. Conaghan, author and teacher, launched Stratford's own book on World Book Day, Thursday, 7th March. Every pupil chose their best work from any of their subjects and submitted it to make "Stratford College Writes!". Browse through an extract of the book in Flipbook!

Mr. Conaghan, author and teacher, launched Stratford's own book on World Book Day, Thursday, 7th March. Every pupil chose their best work from any of their subjects and submitted it to make "Stratford College Writes!". Every family and teacher got a copy. Mr. Conaghan is soon to publish his second novel. His first novel, "The Boy who made it Rain" is to be republished in its original format, i.e. four sections. To get a flavour of the activities around the school on World Book Day look at the 2012-2013 Gallery. The school raised €105 for St. Michael's House in the Bring a Book, Buy a Book sale in the morning.

Stratford reach the 2026 Young Environmentalist Awards Finals in RDS for the first time

Congratulations to 1st Year Computer Studies students - Yair, Liam and Giorgi - who made it to the ECO-UNESCO 2026 Young Environmentalist Awards Finals held on 12th May with their Scratch coding project called "Giorgi the Litter Fighter". This is the first time that a Stratford project has made it to the finals - so very impressive work!
