Throughout November, the TY Library prefects, the TYs, Ms Mahon and Ms O'Kelly asked all students to draw an image of their favourite fictional character on a blank jigsaw piece. Through Art classes and the TY Computer Studies Digital Media module, we came up with this idea of creating a cuboid globe representing the World Book Day Award (2017) theme - "World of Stories".

This year's World Book Day Award has a first prize of £5000 worth of Walker books. Schools from all over United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland are encouraged to enter. This year's theme is "World of Stories" inspired by Oliver Jeffers. The competition deadline was 9 December.
