Sci Fest Tech Dec2019 P1100845
NEWS / 13 December 2019

On Wednesday, 11th December the TY students, who had been working all term on their group coding projects using Scratch 3.0, presented really excellent projects to Mr Hugo Rowsome from SciFest.

The TYs had to show their design process log outlining the development of their Scratch program, demonstrate their program and use the poster to enhance their explanation.

The standard was extremely high across all the group projects and after a considerable amount of deliberation the following groups were awarded prizes:

  • 4X: 1st Place to Ross and Alex.
  • 4X: 2nd Place to Hugh, Noah and Dragos.
  • 4Y: Joint 1st place to Moya Rae, Leo and Josh in one group and to Sid, Cian and Finn in another group
  • 4Y: Innovation prize to Lojane, Jason and Olivia

In May 2020, the 1st placed prize winners will represent Stratford in the SciFest@Colleges competition in TU Blanchardstown. Well done to every single student who put in such tremendous work over a sustained period.
