Ms McCarthy and Ms O'Sullivan started working with the TY students in the autumn of 2015 to create a Biodiversity Garden. Mr Priestley also worked with the TY students as they designed and produced two garden benches made from wooden pallets.

One of the Science projects we had was to increase the flora and fauna of the school by creating a Biodiversity Garden with Ms McCarthy and Ms O'Sullivan. It took lots of preparation - measuring, budgeting, floor plan (which wasn't used in the end). We spent a ful day shovelling clay into the beds. It was difficult work but lots of fun! Now there is a magnificent little garden outside which is a great place to sit at during lunch. Under Mr Priestley's supervision we also designed and produced two garden benches made from wooden pallets, as well as paint a mural on the wall.
