NEWS / 15 May 2017

On Friday morning, 12th May instead of Music Technology and Computer Studies classes, the TY students worked on a MaKey MaKey workshop where they had to create their own musical instruments. This was a most innovative and creative STEAM workshop!

Water turntables! Teeth! Drums! Faces! These were the innovative musical instruments that the TYs created when they did a Make, Create, Innovate workshop with MaKey Makey's, Surface Pro's and junk art. Linked to the Surface Pro's they created sounds made or found by the students.

Thanks to Kate and Siobhan from Make, Create, Innovate for making it happen. The work the TYs produced was a superb example of STEAM - Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths.
