TY Sailing School is a big hit

NEWS / 26 May 2011

Throughout May, the TY students went sailing in Dun Laoighaire every Thursday afternoon. Hana Hughes (TY) and Sara Epstein (TY) write about their experiences.

TY sailingI really enjoyed sailing because we had loads of fun learning all about the different parts of the boat. On our last lesson, we all went pier-jumping ... I would really recommend sailing.
Hana Hughes (TY)

I loved sailing. I had never done it before and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I hope to do it again someday. It taught me a lot about team work as it takes a lot get the sails up and running but when they were up, we were on our way!
