Transition Year maths students worked very hard on entering the John Hooper Statistics Poster Competition throughout March. The Central Statistics Office organised the competition and the deadline for entries was on Friday, 23rd March - the last day of last term!
Students enjoyed choosing topics of their interest to gather data on and present their findings on a poster. The topics ranged from recycling, gender roles, transport, terrorism, politics, Net Flix, music and on connecting music and personalities. Questionnaires were given to all students in the school based on these topics, results were tallied, analysed, displayed on graphs and finally put together to create an eye catching poster.
The T.Y. students enjoyed using statistics to gain information on their fellow students and made excellent posters.

In the run up to the state exams, Stratford's Wellbeing Team draws your attention to the suite of resources on gov.ie under the heading of Wellbeing support for Exam Students, Parents and School Staff.
On Thursday 21st May, Ms Donohoe, Ms McGill and the 3rd Year Classics students walked to nearby Ely Arch beside the River Dodder. As part of Junior Cycle Classics, students have to compare a building in their local area with a building in Rome.

As is tradition at this time of year, the annual rounders game took place between our outgoing 6th Years and Teachers. Despite great efforts by our 6th years and some fabulous (and acrobatic) play! The Teachers came out victorious.
