On Tuesday evening, 19th May the TYs celebrated their TY Graduation and Rite Journey Homecoming ceremonies with their families, friends and teachers. TYs were presented with a folder of all the Certificates that they achieved over the year.
Mr Barrett, Ms Donohoe, Ms Maxwell and Ms O'Kelly gave speeches to celebrate the TYs achievements. Each TY spoke and/or provided a musical interlude during the evening's ceremonies.The TY Graduation was immediately followed by refreshments. Dr McAdoo picked the food planted/nurtured by the TYs from the Stratford polytunnel who cooked an amazing risotto with the pickings!
Following refreshments, Mr Kelly then led a very moving Rite Journey Homecoming Ceremony.

The 4th Years began construction of the raised beds today under the careful supervision of our caretaker John. Learning life skills of instruction reading, drilling, and screwing them together and team work to create them. Over the next few weeks these beds will be filled by the students with 2 tonnes of soil and winter plants so that we have crops in the Spring! Looking forward to all the broccoli, onions, potatoes, and beetroot!

On Friday, the 11th of September, we as Transition Year students got the opportunity to visit the Europa House Experience on Chatham Street. The Europa House provided an interactive experience exploring how the European Union functions in Ireland and across the globe.

Stratford College opened its doors on Sunday 6th September for a vibrant Open Day and welcomed prospective students and their families, and members of the community. The event started with presentations from the principal, Mr. Barrett, from Chief Rabbi Wieder, the Chair of the Board, and an inspiring student representative.
