On Tuesday, 23rd February, the TY students have started a new venture - a public speaking module with Toastmasters - during English class. Ms. Reynolds explains in detail.

Today our TY students started a new venture, a public speaking module with Toast Masters, the internationally recognised public speaking body. At any one time there are over 300, 000 people participating in this course in any of the 130 counties that its available in. Each student will have the opportunity to be a chairperson, to give a speech and to conduct a mock interview. On the successful completion of this course, they will receive a International Toastmasters’ Certificate in Public Speaking.

This external certification builds on what is already a very successful and enjoyable TY Public Speaking Module.
