TY English students represent Stratford at Mental Health Ireland Public Speaking competition

TY students, Kara Stein, Sadhbh Charles and Sean Lysaght, were amongst those who entered the Public Speaking competition organised by Mental Health Ireland and hosted at St.John of Gods on Tuesday, 4th December.

Mental Health IrelandTY students, Kara Stein, Sadhbh Charles and Sean Lysaght, were amongst those who entered the Public Speaking competition organised by Mental Health Ireland and hosted at St.John of Gods on Tuesday, 4th December. The theme of their speech was "The Importance of Hope".

Says Kara Stein, "it was hard work writing the speech and we were all very apprehensive. Yet the second we started speaking the stress left us and we had such a great time. We met really nice people and I would definitely do it all over again".

Stratford reach the 2026 Young Environmentalist Awards Finals in RDS for the first time

Congratulations to 1st Year Computer Studies students - Yair, Liam and Giorgi - who made it to the ECO-UNESCO 2026 Young Environmentalist Awards Finals held on 12th May with their Scratch coding project called "Giorgi the Litter Fighter". This is the first time that a Stratford project has made it to the finals - so very impressive work!
