TY students, Kara Stein, Sadhbh Charles and Sean Lysaght, were amongst those who entered the Public Speaking competition organised by Mental Health Ireland and hosted at St.John of Gods on Tuesday, 4th December.
TY students, Kara Stein, Sadhbh Charles and Sean Lysaght, were amongst those who entered the Public Speaking competition organised by Mental Health Ireland and hosted at St.John of Gods on Tuesday, 4th December. The theme of their speech was "The Importance of Hope".
Says Kara Stein, "it was hard work writing the speech and we were all very apprehensive. Yet the second we started speaking the stress left us and we had such a great time. We met really nice people and I would definitely do it all over again".

As is tradition at this time of year, the annual rounders game took place between our outgoing 6th Years and Teachers. Despite great efforts by our 6th years and some fabulous play, Teachers came out victorious. Fair play to all who played in this game.
