Stratford College had a great time celebrating Francophone week from 18th - 22nd March. In French lessons we learned about the great number of countries around the world where French is spoken, and throughout the week students created posters to celebrate these countries.
In P.E. students enjoyed playing Pétanque - very competitively! - and learning about how the classic French game has roots all the way back to civilisations they are learning about in Classical Studies.
Finally Transition Year students held a wonderful quiz for the Junior Cycle students, incorporating excellent rounds celebrating literature and Purim in French.

The 4th Years enjoyed taking an active role in a Climate Literacy Sustainable Development module starting 5th September. The TYs were making connections linking systems such as technology-education-food-democracy.

Students in 1Y presented their personal historical objects to Ms Kenny and their classmates in History class on Thursday, 5th September. The range and stories behind each of the objects was spellbinding!
