The boys football team made history on Friday 7th November with a 1–0 win over Goatstown E.T.S.S., marking their first victory of the season (and only the second in a couple of years) writes Ianis in 3rd year.
From the very first whistle, the team showed real determination and belief. Every player gave it their all, and defended bravely, worked hard for one another, and stayed focused right to the end. The breakthrough came when Roberto finished brilliantly to give them the lead, and the team held firm to secure a well-deserved win.
This result wasn’t just about the scoreline. It showed how far they've come, and the teamwork, the effort, and the spirit that every player brought to the pitch. There’s still plenty to improve on, but this performance proved what’s possible when everyone gives their best and plays for the badge.
A huge congratulations to everyone involved and a huge thanks to Thomas, the coach.
