Spring Poetry Salon

Poetry salon 2025 04 09 11 42 Office Lens
NEWS / 4 April 2025

This was our biggest event so far on Thursday 3rd April, following on from the success of the Winter Poetry Salon. We had poetry entries from students in 1st -5th year, with recent Oide National Poetry Award recipient, Joseph reciting his Highly Commended poem at the end of the salon.

We also included 100 Flash Fictions which we hope to expand on next year. Students recited their work to a receptive and supportive crowd. We also had lots of first-time writers at this session, and this is something we want to encourage for next time.
