SciFest@Stratford: Judges examine TY Biodiversity projects

On Monday, 7th March, the TY Science students were visited by two external judges as part of the SciFest@schools competition. The TYs put in a lot of work in a broad range of biodiversity projects. Well done to Alannah Anderson and Conor Doheny who were deemed the winners with their "Affirmations and Meditation" project. They will compete in the SciFest@College competition in early May.

On Monday, 7th March, the TY Science students were visited by two external judges as part of the SciFest@schools competition. The TYs put in a lot of work in a broad range Iof biodiversity projects, ranging from make-up, the differences between Spanish and Irish life, to monitoring birds in the school biodiversity garden.

Well done to Alannah Anderson and Conor Doheny who were deemed the winners with their "Affirmations and Meditation" project. They will compete in the SciFest@College competition in early May in the Institute of Technology, Blanchardstown.

Stratford reach the 2026 Young Environmentalist Awards Finals in RDS for the first time

Congratulations to 1st Year Computer Studies students - Yair, Liam and Giorgi - who made it to the ECO-UNESCO 2026 Young Environmentalist Awards Finals held on 12th May with their Scratch coding project called "Giorgi the Litter Fighter". This is the first time that a Stratford project has made it to the finals - so very impressive work!
