National Library of Ireland Temporary Exhibition: The Past from the Press

There is a temporary exhibition, The Past from the Press, on loan from the National Library of Ireland that is on display from November 2014 to February 2015.

From November 2014 to February 2015 students can view the temporary exhibition, The Past from the Press, in the Library. It is on loan from the National Library of Ireland (NLI). According to the NLI literature, this exhibition looks "beyond the front pages and examines the historical evidence that can be found in other parts of the newspaper - in its photographs, advertisements, sports reports and social listings."

Students are invited to look at the banner displays from the exhibition which are changed approximately every ten days.

Stratford reach the 2026 Young Environmentalist Awards Finals in RDS for the first time

Congratulations to 1st Year Computer Studies students - Yair, Liam and Giorgi - who made it to the ECO-UNESCO 2026 Young Environmentalist Awards Finals held on 12th May with their Scratch coding project called "Giorgi the Litter Fighter". This is the first time that a Stratford project has made it to the finals - so very impressive work!
