Organised by the Holocaust Education Trust of Ireland (HETI), "the ceremony cherishes the memory of those who perished and recalls the millions of innocent Jewish men, women and children and others, who were persecuted and murdered by the Nazis and their collaborators because of their ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, political affiliations or their religious beliefs. The commemoration includes readings, survivors’ recollections, the Scroll of Names, candle-lighting and music."
