NEWS / 13 January 2014

On Tuesday, 17th December, 6th Year Geography students and TY students braced themselves from the cold to visit Kippure as part of the Leaving Certificate Field Trip. Sean McGuinness, 6th Year, writes in more detail about the day.

6th Year Geography students and 4th Year students wrapped up and braced the cold in Kippure, in aid of the Leaving Certificate Geography project worth 20% of our final grade. With the help of the 4th Years and Ms. McGuckin we carried out experiments such as finding the depth and velocity of a river's lower course and upper course. Even though it was a cold day it was both enjoyable and beneficial. (Click on blog title to see more photos.)
