NEWS / 24 May 2018

On Thursday 24th May, 1st year Classical Studies students marked their last class by creating edible monsters.

From a selection of cupcakes, jelly snakes, chocolate buttons and pomegranate seeds, students made their own monster before devouring them. There were some Medusa buns and clever spiders to represent Arachne. Thanks to Maria for her iced Medusa cakes, Charlotte for her chocolate moon cookies to represent Artemis and Tom for his pomegranate representing Persephone, corn snacks for Demeter and jelly laces for the three Fates.

Congratulations to all of the 1st years for a great first year learning about ancient Greece and Rome.
Ms. Donohoe
