Stratford College are taking part in a Biodiversity project as part of the Rathgar Village Improvement Plan supported by Dublin City Council. On Thursday, 14th May the Biodiversity representative from Dublin City Council met 1st and 2nd year students. 2nd Year student, Ana Jovanovic, reflects on this talk.

On Thursday 14th May, the First and Second years went to the hall for a biodiversity talk. A guest speaker came in, she told us about what biodiversity is, how it affects us and how we can help biodiversity. We looked through a slideshow and we learned new facts about nature. We also learned how to identify some common birds. The guest speaker brought in different plants and told us where we could find them, what they are called and how they are linked to biodiversity. It was a fun experience and by the end of the day, we all new a bit more about biodiversity.  Read more about the Rathgar Village Improvement Plan of which Stratford College are participating in it through the Biodiversity project.
