Drama in the Classroom

5th Year "Freeze Frame" of scene from Macbeth Ms. Reynolds
NEWS / 17 December 2012

During this term, 3rd Year and 5th Year students auditioned for their roles at the beginning of their drama module and then enacted scenes using various techniques. Ms. Reynolds explains why.

See the photos of our third and fifth year classes as they engage in drama as an active teaching methodology. They audition for their roles at the beginning of the module and enact all the scenes using various techniques such as freeze frames, character questions and dramatic performances. The students develop a deeper appreciation and comprehension of the text as a result of this type of engagement.
