NEWS / 30 April 2015

As part of the Diamond Jubilee celebration concert in November, students, past pupils and staff (both former and current) worked intensively together from August to November 2014 to produce a beautiful book called '60 Years A Growing'. It was presented to President Michael D. Higgins in Áras an Uachtaráin on Thursday, 12th February 2015. It is now available on our website as an eBook.

Our book entitled '60 Years a Growing' is now available on the school website as an eBook. It is a compilation of memories from past pupils spanning some six decades and marked the occasion of the school's Diamond Jubilee at a concert on Sunday 16th November at 12pm where the Guest Speaker was John Banville, world renowned novelist and past parent. Our book is the result of intensive work by current students, past pupils, current and former staff from August to November 2014.

To complete our Diamond Jubilee celebrations the book was presented to President Michael D. Higgins in Áras an Uachtaráin on Thursday, 12th February 2015.

As you browse through the eBook what you will find striking about the collection is the sense of community that pervades the school and the strong impact that individual teachers have on a young person's life.
