TY Student, Megan Harnett, writes a diary entry about her family in Irish.

Family

Is aoibhinn liom mo chlann. Táimid in ár gcónaí I Rathcúil. I dtosach, is aoibhinn liom mo dhaid. Is annamh a bimid argóint. Reitim go maith leis. Tá a chleachtadh féin aige in eineacht le mo mhaim agus tá a lán curaimi acu. Is duine lách, iontaofa agus greannmhar i mo dhaid.

Is aoibhinn liom mo mhaim freisin fiú go gcuireann sí isteach orm. Is duine cairdiúil,cabhrach agus éirimiúil i mo mhaim, cé go mbíonn sí cantalach ó am go chéile, go háirithe ar maidin! Is minic a bimid ag argóint ach tá sé ceart go leor mar is í mhaim í agus is aoibhinn liom mo mhaim.
