NEWS / 5 December 2014

Stratford College is looking for volunteers to run CoderDojo classes on Sunday mornings. If you are aged between 10-15 and are interested in coding - come along!

The global network of free computer programming clubs for young people. See more at  https://coderdojo.com/about/

What is Coderdojo?
Coderdojo makes web development and learning to code a fun and sociable experience and taking part in the scheme provides children with a valuable set of skills to succeed in an increasingly digital world.

Who can take part?
The Club will be aimed primarily for 10-15 year olds. So far in Ireland, the Coderdojo classes have been dominated by those between the ages of 7-12.

How much does it cost?
The programme is taught, organised and run entirely by willing volunteers, which means that the classes are provided to children free of charge.

Volunteers Needed
Please contact  StratfordCollegePA@stratfordcollege.ie if interested or available to volunteer for Sunday morning classes. Computer experience not essential. See more about organising a Dojo at coderdojo.com/organise-a-dojo/
