Congratulations to Mr. Conaghan who was awarded the Costa Children's Book Award in early January for his book "The Bombs that Brought Us Together". Mr. Conaghan taught in Stratford College in recent years and still keeps in touch with us.

In 2015 Mr. Conaghan was shortlisted for the 2015 CILIP Carnegie Medal for his earlier book "When Mr. Dog Bites". We're all delighted for you. Mr. Conaghan taught English and Classics in Stratford College in recent years.

As is tradition at this time of year, the annual rounders game took place between our outgoing 6th Years and Teachers. Despite great efforts by our 6th years and some fabulous play, Teachers came out victorious. Fair play to all who played in this game.
