As part of our focus on the key skill, 'Working with Others', we've being trying the 'Back to Back' technique for creative writing. I'm delighted to report the great success we experienced. In early September, students sat in pairs 'back to back', one student had an object and the other had to describe it. The description had to be specific enough, so that the other could not only guess what it was, but draw a detailed sketch of it. Artistic skills were not required here but their oral literacy, listening skills, and co-operation skills were.

As is tradition at this time of year, the annual rounders game took place between our outgoing 6th Years and Teachers. Despite great efforts by our 6th years and some fabulous play, Teachers came out victorious. Fair play to all who played in this game.
