Awards Ceremony 2025 - celebrating student achievements

On Friday, 10th October Stratford College celebrated student achievements for the past academic year. We welcomed Colm Keegan - poet, writer, dramatist - as our keynote speaker who shared with us the transformative power of poetry.

We were delighted to have our most recent past-pupils - the class of 2025 - return to accept their prizes. Musical interludes from Joseph (6th Year), Reuben and Ruiqi (2nd Year) and Skye (6th Year) were additional highlights to the Awards Ceremony.

A huge thanks to Ms Talbot, Mr Barrett, the Student Council, 6th Year Prefects, John our caretaker, and all the teachers and staff who made it another memorable afternoon. For more photos see the 2025-2026 gallery!

Senior Cycle Subject Fair for Transition Year Students

On Thursday 26th February Transition Year students participated in a Senior Cycle Subject Fair. In session one we had an opportunity to speak with 5th years about the subjects they had chosen. During session 2, the teachers presented their individual subjects to us outlining curriculum content and assessment details. Next, students have the chance to sit in on senior cycle classes. Hopefully we will be well informed in advance of picking our subjects for Leaving Cert.

Victory in East Dublin Schools Basketball matches

What an exciting match in the East Dublin Schools tournament. Our 2nd year boys won by 1 basket 25-23, when the game went to extra time. A fantastic game played by all.

Mid-Term Treat from Student Council

Thank you to Student Council who served hot chocolate to all students in recognition of a great start to 2026 and for JC and LC mocks coming to an end. Best wishes to everyone for mid-term break which commences today, 13th February.
