Monday, 6th November is the kick off for this year's Arts Week in Stratford College and the emphasis is on nurturing a culture of wellbeing. Highlights include visits from Donna Ray (Singer/Songwriter), Melissa Doran (Illustrator), Stephen James Smith (Slam Poet), Brian Conaghan (award-winning author) and Robert Downes (actor).

Arts Week 2017 in Stratford College starts on Monday, 6th November, focusing on a culture of wellbeing. Many events are organised every day, throughout the day. The mornings are kick started with a 7 minute wake-up HIIT session in the hall. At form time there are thoughts for the day and wellbeing information. At lunch time there are music sessions, reading and relaxing in the library and drop-in mindfulness sessions in the resource room. Then did we mention the artist of the day exhibit? The Haiku competition? The photography competition?

These are the events that are going on everyday. On top of that, other highlights include visits from Donna Ray (Singer/Songwriter), Melissa Doran (Illustrator), Stephen James Smith (Slam Poet) and Brian Conaghan (award-winning author). Check out the Arts Week 2017 poster for details!

A huge thanks to Ms Reynolds for organising so many aspects of Arts Week, as well as all the other teachers who also have organised events in the classroom and around the school.

Enjoy!
