NEWS / 30 September 2013

In early September, Ms. Reynolds and her 6th Year English students were asked to recite lines from Heaney's most popular poems, explain them and teach it to their peers.

As a part of our engagement with Heaney, our Sixth year students were asked to recite lines from Heaney's popular poems, to explain it and teach it to their peers. This example of co-operative learning creates a focused Learning atmosphere, as all students strive to achieve the group goal under  time constraints! (Click on blog title for more photos.)

'The different perceptions of Heaney were really insightful. They captured what the poet was about before we studied his poems in detail.' Rachel Jones
